Windows 8 To Have 128-bit Version?

Here’s what his profile said: Working in high security department for research and development involving strategic planning for medium and longterm projects. Research & Development projects including 128bit architecture compatibility with the Windows 8 kernel and Windows 9 project plan. Besides the allusions to the 128-bit versions of those OSes, that profile also lets us know that despite the fact that some that have forecast the end of desktop Windows versions, it doesn’t seem Microsoft feels that way. Morgan has apparently been working at Microsoft since 2002, assuming he’s still working there. Seriously, though, Microsoft has offered 64-bit OS versions since XP Professional x64 Edition was launched in May of 2005. Although there are still programs that don’t support 64-bit Windows, much of that “pain” has disappeared since the first 64-bit Windows appeared. Since Microsoft is looking at 128-bit Windows, it looks like the next version of Windows will be 64- and 128-bit. Most believe Windows 7 will be the last 32-bit version of the OS. |
